Arthur Sissman, based in Naples, FL, has been active in family history research since 1999 and genetic genealogy since 2015. He has built over 200 family trees and tested his autosomal, Y-DNA, and mtDNA across all major platforms.
Using his “3-Legged Stool Protocol” — Surname, Place, and DNA — Arthur uncovered previously unknown relatives and built a 2,000-person tree from a single ancestral couple with roots in Austria and Romania, supported by over 50 DNA matches.
Since 2023, he has incorporated artificial intelligence into his research to accelerate data analysis and uncover deeper family connections.
Arthur leads the Jewish Genealogy and DNA SIGs for the Genealogical Society of Collier County, hosting Zoom sessions with attendees from around the world.
